Wood engravings
My wood engravings are created with a unique process:
- Based on a photo I make a line drawing (with my own developed software).
- I engrave this line drawing with my laser cutter in black wood.
- I mix an oil paint, consisting of linseed oil and pigments,
- I apply the oil paint to the engravings, a process that requires a lot of manual work.
